Wow! My Very Own Passport
Russ and I swung through Austin on our way home from Austin to visit the Secretary of State office. It took about 15 minutes to have my teaching certificate, diploma, and marriage license authenticated. Each document was $15 for a grand total of $45. When we arrived home I found my very first passport waiting for me. I am so excited and can't wait to put it to good use. I also received an email from Fieldprint verifying that I passed the FBI background check. These documents have both been uploaded to my account with Teach Away. I am just waiting for a contract to finish up the authentication process with the company ProEx. They will send my degree, diploma, and marriage license to Washington and then on to the UAE embassy for the final authentication process. Their fee is around $250 so I plan to wait for a contract before contacting them.
