We Heard From Our Travel Agent

We received the first email from our travel agent last Thursday.  The official word is my visa is almost complete and should be finished up this week.  We are supposed to be ready to travel somewhere between Aug. 6-11.  It just became real.  I jumped in and completed our power of attorney, wills, & living wills.  A trip to the notary will finish those up this week.  I should be through packing my school supplies this week along with banking, insurance, and utilities updated and ready for us to depart.  All in all I am looking at 2-3 weeks left here in Texas.  Haley and I are planning a girls get away to Dallas tomorrow complete with massages and pottery painting.  The hardest thing is going to be leaving the kids so I am going to try to spend every last minute I can with them.  Hopefully Christmas will arrive quickly so I can see them in Abu Dhabi as soon as college lets out for the holidays.
