There's Nothing Like Good Friends

Tonight I spent the evening with all of my best friends.  We got together for dinner at Joanie's house and we had an evening full of fun.  We laughed a lot and cried a little.  I am so blessed with great friends.  They have supported me through a lot of tough times.  I hope I can handle all of the new challenges this adventure will bring without all of those strong shoulders to support me.  Even though I know I can call, email, or Skype any of them day or night, I know it won't be the same.  Today was definitely one of the hardest so far in this journey.  I can't imagine the next 2 years without these friends.  I hope to make some strong friendships overseas in the coming weeks.
